About Smart Inspect

Smart Inspect developed by Core Management Services to answer the need for an objective, data-driven quality reporting and improvement program for its clients in the janitorial industry. The primary mission of Smart Inspect is to give users a simple way to track and improve the cleaning service levels in their facilities.

History of Smart Inspect

Smart Inspect began as an internal quality inspection tool for the consultants at Core Management Services, a leading janitorial consulting firm with clients across the US and Europe.

 Core’s consultants had requested a quality inspection tool that would provide world-class continuous improvement technology but would also provide ease-of-use when they needed to share their quality inspection results with their clients.

Core assembled a team of quality experts, programmers and cleaning industry veterans and funded an ongoing development effort to design and improve a web-based system that would be paperless, item-and-attribute based and most important of all – easy to use.

During this period, Smart Inspect has been made available to users outside of the Core organization. Today, Smart Inspect has become the quality standard for a diverse group of quality-minded organizations including: cleaning companies, colleges and universities, property management companies, retail organizations and fortune 500 corporations among others.

Recently Smart Inspect began offering SmartSync (one button data sync) and bar-coded inspections. It can also be used to earn LEED credits.
